Demonstrations

Kinnic Creek Kennels does entertaining and educational sheep herding demonstrations across the country. We specialize in showcasing the abilities of stock dogs at theme and period demonstrations. We provide a full service demonstration, which includes providing our own stock and making informational materials available to audiences that are specific to your function.

Our demonstrations can be historically period specific and done in character on request with period appropriate livestock.

Sheep herding demonstrations have always been a crowd pleaser, and with the popularity of movies like "Babe," the popularity of sheep dog exhibitions has only grown. Herding demonstrations are also excellent value added performances for Agricultural Shows, Historical Recreations, and Medieval or Renaissance Fairs. Call for pricing and scheduling availability.

Lessons and Instinct Testing

Private lessons or instinct testing sessions are available during scheduled times at the farm. You may choose to work in a variety of pens or pastures on sheep, goats or ducks and geese. Students are encouraged to schedule lessons in groups so everyone can benefit from watching other students who may have similar problems with their dogs.
